Elizabeth (Betty) Martin Walker
December 9, 1931 – December 24, 2016
Sadly, we announce the passing of Elizabeth, better known to her family and friends as Betty, on Saturday, December 24, 2016. Betty is survived by her spouse of 50 years, Watson; children, Duncan (Joyce) Walker of Grande Prairie, Alberta, and Beth (Eric) Mainprize of Campbell River, BC; grandchildren, Daylon, Ashley, Darci Lynn, Brendan, Ethan, and Evan; great grandchildren, Jaxon, Ashton, Paiten, Brooklyn, and Bow; siblings, Moira (Murray) Hogg of Northumberland, England, Tom (Gillian) Hogg of Kent, England and Linda (Graham) Smith of Tyne & Wear England; as well as many extended family members and friends throughout England and Canada. She was predeceased by her infant son, William; parents, Mary and William; brothers, Harry, Jim and Billy; and her sister, Flora.
A Memorial Service will be held in Betty’s honour at 2:00pm on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at
Yates Memorial Services,
1000 Allsbrook Road in
Parksville.
