Wanda is predeceased by her mother and father Flora & Irvine Ward, her sisters Nancy McLeod & Etta Gaskins.
Survived by her loving husband of 46 years Norman Deplaedt; Children: Mike Gray (Cheryl), Kerry Gray (Esther), Kelly Gray (Joan), Darrell Deplaedt (Bonnie), Cheri Newberry (Rick) and Michelle Kellough (Dean); Grandchildren: Taylor Gray, Stephanie Gray (Arnie), Zaharo Soulis, Jordan Newberry (Lateisha), Natesha Newberry, Janaya Kellough, Daylan Kellough, Nicole Deplaedt, Holly Laslo, and Beau Laslo; Great Grandchildren: Brianna, Cadence, Brooklynn, Mason; and Brother, Bert Ward.
Wanda worked for Telus until she retired at age 55. She enjoyed gambling at the casino as well as researching genealogy up until a few years ago. Following retirement she and Norman enjoyed many vacations on cruise ships taking them to Alaska, Russia, Panama Canal, Mediterranean, China, Australia, New Zealand, Hawaii and South America to name a few. She enjoyed her clubs including curves and stich n' (with friends) and the seniors centre in Qualicum where she enjoyed friendship and activities.
