FREDERIKSEN, Ellen
Ellen was born on December 3, 1921 in Haderslev, Denmark to parents Hans Terkelsen and Emma Damerius.
She died peacefully at the Arranglen Gardens, Qualicum Beach, BC, June 21, 2003 in the presence of Jutta, her loving daughter, and Larry.
Ellen was predeceased by her husband Flemming, whose death in May of 1998 ended a loving fifty-two year partnership. Ellen was also predeceased by her parents, three older sisters Dora, Martha and Louise, and her brother Hans-Jorgen Terkelsen. Ellen leaves behind her two older sisters Lenchen and Margrethe, also many nieces and nephews in Denmark. She is survived by her son Hans (Rosemary), her daughter Jutta (Larry), her granddaughters Jennifer (Ashley), Meredith and Alisha, and her great grandson Keagan.
Arriving in Port Alberni in July 1957, Ellen and Flemming retired to Qualicum Beach in 1978.
Friends and acquaintances of the family are invited to attend a Memorial Service, which will be held on Friday, June 27, 2003 at 2:00 pm at the Parksville Funeral Chapel, 1000 Allsbrook Road, Parksville, BC.
