DUGGAN, Eric Hawthorne
Passed away suddenly at his home
in Parksville on
Wednesday, October 8, 2003
He was 82 years old. He is survived by his loving wife Anne. In May they celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary. Eric is also survived by his three children: son Paul (Odette) in Toronto, daughter Elizabeth (Don) Armstrong of Chilliwack, and son Owen (Gretchen) of San Antonio, Texas; four grandchildren: Alexander, Ian, Heather, and Donald; his sister Mabel (Derrick) Hawkins of West Vancouver.
Eric worked for Canadian Pacific Railway, transferred from city to city across Canada. Later in life with Canadian Pacific Consulting Services he went to Nairobi, Kenya for three years, then to Bandung Indonesia for four years. After 50 years with the company, he retired in Parksville.
Memorial service will be held at St. Columba Presbyterian Churchon Thursday, October 30 at 2:00 p.m.
