Ernest George Jackson
July 13, 1929 – February 12, 2014
Ernie was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba and moved to Vancouver in 1950 where he met his wife, Lois (Miller). They had two sons, Bob and Mike. He was predeceased by Lois (2004).
On retirement from the printing industry, where he worked for 44 years, Ernie and Lois moved to Parksville. He savoured retirement living and enjoyed golfing, attending church with his church family, and vacationing with friends. He was a member of the Eaglecrest Golf Course, Arrowsmith Golf Course and the Probus Club of Parksville.
Ernie is survived by his loving wife, Edith, his sons Bob (Karen), grandson Nesta and Mike (Kim), and his extended families. He will be sadly missed.
