GLESSING, Esther Katheleen
Born September 28, 1935 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Passed away in Parksville, BC on November 4, 2002
She was predeceased by her parents, Caroline and Henry Jabusch; brothers Ferdinand and Valentine; sister Alvina; son-in-law Darrell Riopel; grandson Jesse Dale and previous husband Donald Glessing. Esther is survived and so lovingly missed by her common-law husband Peter O’Rourke; her sons, Collin and Donald; her daughters, Coral, Carmen and Vanya; her stepson Kelly; stepdaughters Kari, Shawn and Shelley; Esther’s sisters, Eleanor (Arnie), Margaret (Ronald) and brother Leonard (Ruby), all of Saskatchewan; her grandchildren, Angela, Pamela, Jason, Jayme-lyn, Carmen, Clint, Jayde, Daylon, Tyler, Chancee and Jenna; great grandchildren, Kyra-Lyn, Mackenzie, Michael, Taylor, Bailee, Deserae, Emily, Dakota, Clayton and Evan. Esther was a proud, beautiful, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed her flower gardening, cooking, family and friends, her beloved Pug Yoshie and her life with Peter on the Island.
The Memorial Service was held November 8 at Our Saviour Lutheran Church, 795 W. Island Hwy, Parksville, BC Phone 248-6644. Luncheon was served thereafter
