Eva Gerein

December 26, 1923 – September 23, 2014

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Eva Gerein. She is survived by daughter Jan Okert, grandson Terence Okert and brother Lloyd Kupser.

Eva was born in Revenue, Saskatchewan and grew up in a large family on a farm that she remembered with fondness. In her early years she enjoyed school and music. She played the accordion, piano, organ and guitar.

Eva was married to John and together they ran an electrical contracting business. After moving to Kelowna, Eva worked at Cooper’s Grocery where she was head cashier for many years. Eva enjoyed gardening, canning, cooking and baking (she made a wonderful pie). She always enjoyed special occasions over a wonderful home-cooked meal.

Eva’s Prairie upbringing gave her great inner strength, she was always independent and believed in a good work ethic.

We would like to thank Home Support and all the wonderful people at Eagle Park for their kindness and caring on our journey.

A service will be held at the Church of the

Ascention, 887 Wembley Road, Parkville on

Thursday, October 16th at 11:00 am.

We wish you Peace on the other side.

You are now free to fly with NO more worries.

We will love and miss you always.
