Formerly of Parksville, BC and Edmonton, AB. Passed away peacefully on June 21, 2010 at the age of 95. May was predeceased by her husband, Lloyd, sister, Lillian and brother, Edward. She is survived by her daughters, Gayle (Keith) Congdon of Qualicum Beach, BC and Marlene (Robert) Stephen of Onoway, AB; grandchildren, Todd, Michelle, Daniel (Sarah), Melissa and Karrah; great-grandchildren, Jennifer, Logan and Dawson.
May was a great lover of square dancing and it was part of her life from 1953 onward. She attended her last convention held in Toronto in 2008 at 93. She enjoyed it thoroughly
She will be missed by her immediate and her extended family of nieces and nephews. She always kept in touch with everyone.
A Celebration of Life will be held on August 7, 2010 at the home of Keith & Gayle Congdon, 298 Garden Rd. East, Qualicum Beach from 2pm to 4pm.
