WALSH, Francis Robert Born December 1, 1917 in Calvert, Newfoundland. Passed away peacefully at his home in Parksville on June 08, 2002 surrounded by loving familyPredeceased by loving wife Maureen who passed away February 8, 1994. He is survived by daughter Anne (Peter); sons Tim (Marianne), Greg (Daryl), Tony, David (Adele), Bernard, Michael (Roseanne), James (Keiko) and eleven grandchildren. “Captain Bob” was a WWII veteran and member of the Royal Canadian Legion. He had been retired in Parksville for 15 years. His spirit and humour will be greatly missed. The family would like to thank all those who helped with Bob’s illness and passing. A special thank you to Lee whose great kindness is much appreciated.
