Frank Roy Lawson
November 21st, 1947- November 21st, 2013
Frankie passed away peacefully in his sleep on his 66th birthday surrounded by his family and much love.
He is survived by his life partner Patty; daughter, Marni (Steve and granddaughters Ava & Sofia); son, Michael; brothers, Mike (Carol & Nikki), Pat (Chris, Nikki, Lance, & Meg), and Tony (Marilyn). He is also predeceased by his brother John (Jackie) Edward Lawson (1960).
Frank was born in High River, Alberta on November 21st, 1947, and was the eldest of 5 boys raised by Jake and Peggy Lawson (predeceased). He attended the University of Denver and had a varied career that included work in Ontario (Food Services), and Alberta (Oil Services). Frank relocated to BC with Patty to open the Curves for Women franchise in Qualicum Beach. He was an avid golfer and hockey player.
The Lawson family would like to extend their utmost gratitude to Patty, Kelly, Holly, Dr. Most, Dr. Haslett, Dr. Rieger, Jean, Nurses Lisa and Jennifer, and all the other health care professionals that assisted Frank and our family throughout his journey.
Frankie’s zany personality fueled his
love for life and good times.
To celebrate his life, his family will be holding a
celebration at the Arrowsmith Golf Club in
Qualicum Beach, British Columbia on Tuesday November 26th, 2013 from 1:00 to 6:00 pm.
An additional informal celebration will be held in Calgary, Alberta in early December; details to follow.
