FRED McLEOD
April 30, 1915 to May 29, 2013
It is with sadness we announce the passing of our dear father and grandfather in Nanaimo Regional General Hospital on May 29, 2013, four weeks past his 98th birthday.
Dad was born in Kelvington SK, to Ella and Ernest McLeod. He was predeceased by his wife Margaret in 2001, siblings Charlie McLeod and Hazel Rosenke both of SK.
He is survived by daughters Merle (Bernard) Bailas, Regina, SK, Heather (Hank) Klassen, sons Robert (Kathy) McLeod and Bruce (Stephanie) McLeod of Parksville, BC. Dad is also survived by ten grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
A special thank you to the nurses and doctors who cared for Dad on the fifth floor at NRGH.
A family funeral will take place in SK in July and a memorial will take place at Island Gospel Centre, in Bowser, to be announced for later in August.
