BALDWIN, Frederic Arthur January 16, 1917 - August 18, 2002
We mourn the loss of our devoted husband and loving father, grandfather and great grandfather. Eighty-five years ago Fred was born in London, England. He immigrated to Canada with his young family in 1957 and settled in Calgary, Alberta where he worked as a Chartered Accountant for many years. Upon retiring in 1975, Fred and Elsie moved to Qualicum Beach, BC. Fred passed away suddenly at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital on August 18, 2002. He was predeceased by his son Peter and survived by his loving wife of 61 years Elsie; 2 daughters, Gillian Orr (Darwin) of Calgary and Christine Ross (Doug) of Qualicum Beach; 4 grandchildren, Pamela Wilson of Calgary, Simon Lerner of Qualicum Beach, Claire and Ruth Lerner both of Calgary; great granddaughter Jordan Wilson of Calgary; 2 sisters, Eileen Fermor and Beryl Seaman (Roy) of England; as well as many nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2002 at 3:00 pm
in a quiet garden setting at 996 Bluebird Place, Qualicum Beach, BC
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Fred’s memory to the Nanaimo Regional General Hospital.
