Fred was predeceased by his first wife Rosa; father, Fred; mother, Gladys; brother, Ray (Pat); and sister in law, Joan.

He leaves to mourn his wife, Lois; daughter, Sandra; stepchildren, Rick (Donna), Steven (Kathy), Glen (Sharon), Kim (Rick); grandchildren, Victoria, Sarah (Dylan), Beth, Marie, Jeremy; and great grandson, Chase.

Fred also leaves brother and sister in-laws, Alex (Diane), Don, Wendy (Bill), David, and numerous friends.

Fred lived and worked all his life in the Qualicum area, except for his time in the military during the Second World War.

His grandparents arrived in the Qualicum area in the early 1900’s. He had seen many changes to the town and surrounding area during his life.

He was one of the founding members of the Qualicum Beach Curling Club. He loved his curling, golf, fishing, hunting and his garden.
