Born in New Westminster on March 30, 1925.
Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on September 7, 2008 in Nanaimo.
Survived by his loving wife of 52 years Anne; his best friend Pal; his children: Hector (Betsy), Eliot (Kym), Kathryn, Julia (Wayde), Laurelle (Paul); his grandchildren: Jessica (Curt), Victoria, Dylan, Brianna, Aiden, Morgan, Cole, Elias; and his great grandchildren; Anais, Eva and Fraser.
Buck was a retired dentist, an avid gardener, and a lover of life and family. He will be dearly missed by all that knew him.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 27th, 2008 from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm,
at the Qualicum Beach Memorial Golf Course.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in memory of Fred may be given to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or a charity of your choice.
