March 23, 1952 – February 1, 2014
On the evening of February 1, 2014 we lost our best friend Gale to a short but brave battle with cancer.
Filled with a passion for life, Gale channeled her love and energies into being a wonderful wife to Gord Waters for 38 years, mother of Jamie (Michelle), Adam (Janet) and Misty, as well as being Nana to Chandra, Karma, Nikita, Skylaar, Marika and Nyah. She was well respected and loved by her community and fellow artists and will be missed.
We would like to extend a huge thank you to our generous family and community for all the support that they have given us during this time.
We would also like to thank our GP Dr. Thor Fridrikson, Dr. John Reiger, the Victoria Cancer Clinic, the Nanaimo Cancer Clinic, the Homecare Nurses, the Community Health Workers, the Red Cross and Oceanside Hospice Society.
We would like to invite friends and family to celebrate her life and birthday with us at The Errington War Memorial Hall at 1390 Errington Road, Errington on March 22nd, 2014 @ 1:00pm. We ask that everyone wear bright colours in honor of her free and passionate nature. For those who wish, please bring a ‘pot luck’ dessert as it was her favorite treat. Coffee, tea and juice will be provided.
