Gary John Adair
Peacefully, on Wednesday April 29, 2015, Gary passed away at home in Qualicum Beach, BC with his wife of 45 years, Patricia by his side. His children, bro’s and friends were there daily to comfort him. Gary was in his 65th year.
He leaves behind his two children, Kevin (Dee Ann) of Qualicum, & Kandace (Rob) of Qualicum; three beautiful granddaughters, Lauren, Mikaela, & Adason. Gary is also survived by his father, John Adair of Qualicum; step-father, Ken Kalte Sr of Port Elgin, Ontario; sisters, Sherry, Pat, Katherine; brothers, Kenny, John & Bill. He was predeceased by his mother, Marion.
Born in Galt, Ontario in 1949, Gary lived in Ayr most of his teen years. He and Pat moved with the kids to Noelville, Ontario where he started his renovating and building career. In 1986, they moved to Qualicum Beach where he continued his love of building and enjoyed travelling and fishing.
Gary touched many peoples’ lives with his words of wisdom and his beautiful sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by all of his family and the many friends he made along the way. We know he is up there playing euchre with the rest of the gang!
At Gary’s request, there will be no service.
The family will hold a private Celebration of Life at a later date.
