The time has come for me to say farewell, to my friend and business partner at Ironcraft, Bill Vogler (Brenda). Remember our good times and hard times and our many long drives just to get away from it all. Thanks Momma, Lillian Easton, for always being the supportive, loving mother. Dear sister Karen (Mark), for all the love, laugh and practical jokes we’ve shared. Brother Michael, you’re admired for your strong beliefs. Thanks to my son North (Rachelle), for being at my side with strength and humour and the talent that makes me a grateful proud father. To sons, Brian (Chantal) and Clayton (Eirin), stay strong, have good lives. To my long time buds, Ian Dunsmore (Gail), Jim Pine (Sharon), Ron Speed (Pat), it’s been a real trip! To Danny free spirit Hilton – happy travels. To all my grandkids, Tyler, Kali, Mackenzie, Jacob, Pascale, Jazz, Axelle, Emika, Emeric and Lachlan, stay on the straight and narrow, reach for the stars, keep a sense of value and humour in your hearts. To my extended family, Lonnie Evans, Chris, Isaiah, Casey – be strong for your mother Lonnie, you are her sunshine. To my devoted wife and bestfriend, Marlene (nee) Kosteniuk, who has been my brick in my downhill whirl – you kept ours vows to the very end – I knew you would, I’ll be watching over ya’all - Gar Boy Easton -March 15, 1944, passed away in his home at Parksville with his family at his side on November 26, 2010.

As per Gary’s request there will be no service at this time. We will share a gathering of family and friends in July in Parksville.
