George passsed away peacefully at Nanaimo Hospital on April 14th, 2008 after a courageous struggle with cancer. Survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Marge; daughters Jacquie (Paul) and Kate; grandchildren, Teneille, Dane, Bryce and Chase; Zac, Megan and Maddie. George was always interested in helping family, friends and his community. A Memorial Service will be held at Knox United Church, Parksville, BC on Friday, April 18, 2008 at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Charity of one's choice.
