SAUNDERS, George
Born April 3, 1913 in Dunfermline, Scotland. Passed away suddenly at home March 1, 2003.
Predeceased by his parents, his brother Jim and sister Chris. George will be lovingly remembered and forever missed by his beloved wife of 64 years Marguerite, his children Peter (Angelika), Maureen, Marguerite, Robin, Holly (Ron), Rick and Bob (Wendy) and his grandchildren George, Dylan, Mike, Fenella, Nigel, Emily, Tyrone, Ryan, Kirsten, Elesha and Chelsea, and by his brother Tom (Vera) and many other relatives and friends.
He enriched the lives of all who knew him and lived his life to the fullest. Cremation.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, March 6, 2003, 2:00 p.m. at First Memorial Funeral Services, 1720 Bowen Road, Nanaimo, with Reverend Allan Saunders officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of choice.
