Geraldine “Gerry” Doris (Hague) Bleasdale passed away peacefully at the Nanaimo Hospital on May 10th, 2012. Gerry was loved by all her family and friends and was a daily fixture for customers at her second home QF in Qualicum Beach. She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother.
Gerry was predeceased by her husband and best friend, Russell Bleasdale. She is survived by her 3 children: Jennifer (Tristan) Black, Jackie Ruttan, and Chad (Jessica) Bleasdale; her 5 adoring grandchildren: Laura, Isabelle, River, Vanessa and Rainn; her sister Sandra Anderson and nephew Cliff. “The Mom” also known as Grammie will be sadly missed by all her family as she was the gravity that held it all together.
Gerry was adamant in her request for no service. Rather she requested for her friends and family to go to the beach front in Qualicum Beach, a special place for her, and raise a glass in her memory.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in her memory to the Hospice in Qualicum Beach or the B.C. Cancer Agency.
She will be laid to rest at a private family celebration with her husband in Summerland where Sir and Madam will be @ Home together for eternity.
