It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our dear companion, father and brother following a lengthy battle with COPD.
Gilles was born in Ottawa, Ontario. He served with the RCAF for 10 years. Following this he worked for Marconi as a technician. He moved to Victoria in 1968, where he owned and operated a TV repair shop. He later retired and moved to Parksville, where he enjoyed a quiet retirement.
He is sorely missed by his loving companion and partner, Dorothy. Also his daughters, Jennifer and Andree and sons in law, Jeff and Greg. Also his sisters Claire and Mariette.
With much gratitude, we would like to thank the staff at NRGH for their compassionate care and kindness.

Yates Funeral Home on May 6, 2009.
