MACDONALD, Glenn Stanley

Born in Maccan, Nova Scotia, August 15, 1936. Passed away in NRGH, November 7th, 2006 with his family by his side.

Predeceased by his father Cyril, mother Ethel, sister Doris, brothers Jim and Cyril, and granddaughter Hayley Rae. Lovingly remembered by his wife of 51 years Molly-Marie, sons Bruce (Kathy), Scott (Shelley), daughter Glennys and grandchildren Quinn, Kyla, Blake, Stacy, Amber, Ashley, Robert, Brett and Sam.

Glenn started his career surveying for the Department of Highways. He then worked as a Civil Inspector for Ipec/BC Hydro for dam and transmission line construction. Glenn semi retired with his wife Molly to commercial cod fishing in 1986. Following which he and his wife ran the Qualicum Beach Curling Club concession. He finished off his working career as a supervisor/inspector for bridge construction. He loved spending his time outdoors gardening, fishing, hunting and camping with his family.

A celebration of life will take place at the Qualicum Beach Curling Club lounge on Tuesday, November 14th from 1 – 4 p.m.

Donations in Glenn’s memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
