Glenn Alan Cooper

Glenn passed peacefully, at Qualicum Manor, Qualicum Beach. 

Born in Winnipeg in 1923, Glenn was the father of Pam Cooper (Eric Johannsen) and Dr Allison Cooper (Brian Sullivan) in Ottawa; Grant Cooper (Dorothy) in Etobicoke; and John Cooper in Edmonton and grandpa to Aubrey Cooper, Robin Johannsen, Samantha Cooper, Jason Cooper and Nicholas Sullivan.    

Educated as an engineer, Glenn was proud to have worked in eight provinces and to have represented Canada abroad during his career as an engineer and trade commissioner. Living in Parksville from the 1980s, he remained active through Scottish Country Dancing.    

With thanks to the exceptional staff of Qualicum Manor for their compassionate care for Glenn. 

Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Service at Yates Memorial Services, 1000 Allsbrook Road, Parksville, BC, on Sat, Nov 25, 2017 at 11 am (visitation from 10 am), with a reception afterwards.
