Passed away suddenly at home in Coombs
on Thursday, April 10, 2003
Predeceased by his father Walter Stewart, he leaves behind his loving wife and best friend Lynn; daughter Christie (Bryan) Whitcomb; grandsons Michael, Jake, Sheldon, Max and Cameron. Also survived by his mother Jenny Stewart; brothers Ray (Denise), Brian and sister Janet Williams (Leo); father-in-law James Rutherford and numerous other family and friends. He will also be missed by his faithful dog “Kelly.” Stewey will be remembered as an avid outdoorsman who loved spending time with family and friends. He was owner of the Parksville Boathouse and enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing ball and relaxing at his floathouse on Great Central Lake.
A Celebration of his Life will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 16th at the Chapel of Memories, 4005 6th Ave., Port Alberni.
Family and friends may pay their respects between 6:00 and 8:00 pm on Tuesday, April 15th also at the Chapel of Memories Funeral Home. Cremation to take place.
