It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gordon Evans.
Gordie grew up in Basswood, Manitoba, leaving as a young man to make his life in B.C. and spending most of his life in Parksville, B.C.
He was a long-time employee for the City of Parksville and he was very active with the Royal Canadian Legion branch 49.
Gordie will always be lovingly remembered by his wife Louise, daughter Dawn (Bruce), grandson Evan, son Michael, grandchildren Cayla (Dave), and Rob (Katherine), great-grandchildren Jaden, Halee, Sierra, Linken, Sophia and nieces and nephews Brenda (Paul), Jamie, Keltie, Carla, and Mitch.
He will also be missed by many friends and former colleagues.
There will be no service at Gordie's request.
