Grace Alice Gunderson
April 14, 1930 – August 28, 2016
With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our wonderful Mom.
Her Grandson James came to take her home on
Sunday August 28, 2016.
Mom was born in Rabbit Lake, Saskatchewan, to
Ernest and Emily Tipton, a sister to Harry and Walter. She married her childhood sweetheart in 1948 and made the Island home.
Mom is survived by her loving husband Ronald, of
almost 68 years, daughter Elaine (Arne), son Ralph
(Diana), 5 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren and one Great Great Granddaughter, many relatives and friends.
Grace was predeceased by her first born infant son Wayne, her second infant grandson Alex, her brothers
and this March, her grandson James.
We would like to thank the Qualicum Manor for the loving care, kindness and being an extended family. Also Dr. Martin for making sure Mon’s passing
was as peaceful as possible.
There will be no service
as per Mom’s request.
