Grace Higgins (nee Welke)

April 26, 1948 - May 15, 2019
After a courageous battle with cancer, it is with great sadness we announce the passing of Grace Higgins (Welke).
Survived by her husband Greg, daughter Sherri (Kerry) Meservia, son David and grandson Dylan Meservia. Siblings Grant, Karen, Corinne, Allan, Gayle, Joy and their families.
Grace was born in Langenburg, Saskatchewan and met Greg while working at a fishing camp in Northern Saskatchewan. They fell in love and Greg brought her back to Parksville to start a family. She took on what ever jobs needed to be done, always supporting Greg in whatever endeavors he took on. Grace surrounded herself with loving friends and family. She was a very giving person and put everyone ahead of herself.
There will be an afternoon reception at Beach Acres Resort in Parksville on Saturday, June 15 from 1 - 4.
