Beloved wife to Louis Verheyen, mother to Esther Verheyen (Richard Cloutier), Sandra Verheyen, Bastiaan Verheyen (Sara) and amazing "Oma" to Jessica, Alexandra (Bradley), Jacob (Jasmine), Cloutier, Emma, Kaitlin Beeston, Gabriella and Joshua Verheyen. and great grandson Jaxon Beeston, passed away after a lengthy illness, (Supranuclear Palsy) at Cameron Lake surrounded by her family.
Hannie was born in Amersfoort, Holland and immigrated to Canada in 1980, running Cameron Lake Resort with her family.
Always active, she had a love for the outdoors, swimming, kayaking, walking and especially Dragon Boating. An avid traveller, she spent much time soaking up the sun in Mexico and Arizona.
A woman with a love for life and family, a void is felt amongst her Cameron Lake family. Also missing her are her sister Ria (Sieg), brother in law, Cees Verheyen (Annie), Bernard Verheyen ( Karin) and numerous nieces and nephews, close friends and family in Holland and Canada. Much gratitude to Joy Banaga and Jade Baiden for the quality care they provided for Hannie so she could spend her final years at home.
A celebration of life will be held from 2-5 pm at Cameron Lake Resort on Saturday May 11, 2019.
