July 29, 1918 - August 27, 2005

Beloved husband to Joyce (nee Murray), loving father to Stephen, Terry (Vicky) and Michael (Susan). Grandfather to Terry-Lynn (Rod), Craig (Theresa), Trevor, Brandon, Vanessa and 3 great grandchildren. Sister Edith Bruns and many nieces and nephews. Harold was predeceased by brother George.

Born in Victoria, Harold worked on the family dairy farm on Ruby Road (McKenzie) and delivered milk throughout Victoria. He met his future bride and life-long companion on Ruby Road. They married in 1940 and celebrated more than 64 years of marriage. Harold took a job driving trucks for Scott & Peden, after his service in the army during the Second World War.

This led to an opportunity for employment with the Sannich Fire department where he served as a fire fighter and rose to the rank of Fire Chief. He enjoyed his retirement in Qualicum Beach and Nanoose Bay. Harold’s hobbies included gardening and wood

carving as well as traveling to the south in winter time.

Celebration of Harold’s Life will be held

at a later date in Victoria.
