McCORMACK, Harold John - Harold (Barney) was born in Vancouver, BC on August 30, 1923. He passed away May 11, 2002 at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital after a courageous 7-year battle with COPD. He was predeceased by his sister Eileen (James). He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 57 years and daughter Diane Baron (Bill); grandson Tim (Jennifer) and great grandson Tyler (8 months).
There will be no service. His wishes were to be cremated and his ashes scattered at his favorite fishing spot along with the ashes of his beloved black Lab who had to be euthanised in March 2001 at age 14. These wishes will be carried out with a private family gathering at a later date.
