Harvey Neil Bolton

Sept. 8, 1940 – June 12, 2013

It is with heartfelt sadness we announce the passing of Harvey Bolton on June 12, 2013 at Nanoose Bay, BC.

Harvey was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba.  He proudly, served 30 years with the RCMP in BC, Ontario, and Manitoba, retiring as a Sgt. in 1992, to Nanoose Bay, BC.

Harvey was predeceased by his parents, Arnold and Muriel and brother Gilbert. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Barbara as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Harvey was known for his impromptu calls for a quick cup of coffee and a catch up visit - a “social butterfly”.

In honour of Harvey’s kind, generous, and life loving spirit, a “Celebration of his Life” will take place at the Parksville Fellowship Baptist Church, 345 North Pym St, Parksville at 1:00 PM

on July 17th, 2013. Respecting his wishes, his ashes will be interred at Sunnyside Cemetery in Manitoba at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a denotation in Harvey’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Harvey, who loved his Lord, is now at peace in the arms of his Saviour.
