It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a dear husband, dad and Opa. Heino was a man of few words, but with a warm and caring heart. His family meant the world to him and he was happiest when we could all be together on special holidays.
Heino is survived by his loving wife, Christel, of 64 years, children; Elke, Peter (Gayle), Angela (Kevin) granddaughters; Caitlyn and Theresa - his last surviving sibling Wilfried Brase (Harmine) - extended Brittain family and families and dear friends in British Columbia, Montreal, Que., Germany and Switzerland.
To honour Heino's wishes there will be no funeral service but a Celebration of Life will be held at the Nanoose Library Hall, February 3, 2018 at 1:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, if you so wish, a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
