HELEN VERNA WARGO
Verna passed away peacefully on June 28, 2017
at the age of 102.
She was born on Gabriola Island on August 21, 1914, the eldest of the 5 children of James and Annie (Rollo) Gallagher.
She married Harry Wargo in 1936 and moved to Extension BC, where she resided for over 75 years. She had two daughters: Rosalie Rodway (deceased) (Chuck), and Dorothy Rodway (Terry - deceased). She is survived by Dorothy, 8 grandchildren: Scott, Lori, Craig, Terry, Kathy, Brad, Keith and Lynda, 18 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandsons.
We will remember Grandma with love for her
dedication to her family, her large vegetable and
flower gardens, her sewing (all the Christmas
pajamas), her baking and cooking.
A Celebration of her Life will be held at the Extension Hall on Saturday, August 19, 2017, between 1-3pm, where friends are invited to
join the family for tea.
