HERBERT RAE WRIGHT
July 1, 1951 – August 13, 2012
Herbert is predeceased by his mother & father Prudence & Phillippe Wright, sister Linda McQuarrie, and brother
Phil Wright.
He leaves behind his wife Debby of 41 years, son Pat (Cheryl) of Parksville and daughter Jody Young (Elton) of Qualicum Beach as well as grandchildren Tyson, Bailey and Coral Young, and Dominique, Broc & Alexis Wright.
He also leaves behind is sister Sandy (Bill), brothers Ken (Marilyn), Gord (Mary Jean) and Brad (Shelly).
Herb’s passion for life was contagious. Always eager to help, he filled each day with laughter and caring. Hunting, fishing, golf, and curling, his hobbies were many, and he jumped wholeheartedly and enthusiastically into each experience.
Herb spent the last 22 years working for the City of Parksville, a job he loved with a wonderful group of people. With his friendly smile and quick witt Herb made many friends over the years. His terrific sense of humor and boundless love and caring are a legacy we will always carry with us.
Please join us for a celebration of life to be
held at the Parksville Community Centre on
Saturday, August 25th at 2:30pm.
