RUSSELL, HUBERT FRANCIS
October 18, 1941 – August 17, 2015
It is with great sadness Hubert passed away, very suddenly and peacefully at Nanaimo General
Hospital.
He is dearly missed by his three sons Michael (Dixie), Patrick (Carolyn), and Wayne (Miska); three daughters Elizabeth, Nicole & Kathleen (Simon); grandchildren Rebecca, Jessica, Emily, Callum, Jasmine, Claire & Cyrus as well as his large family of relatives and many friends.
Hubert’s business Russell Decorating was well knows from Victoria to Alert Bay. He volunteered his painting skills to many communities and was recognized for his willingness to always help.
He always expressed his love for the Community of Bowser, where he had many friends. A big thank you to Bowser, the Bowser Paramedics, and the teams at both the Comox and Nanaimo General Hospitals.
A private family funeral mass was held at the Church of the Ascension on August 22, 2015. Celebrant Rev. Karam Alreban.
