June 28, 1937 - January 13, 2011
Inez Zierk went home to her Lord and Saviour on Thursday, January 13, 2011 after a brave struggle with cancer. She was born to Shannon and May Stauffer and grew up helping her parents with the family owned machine shop business.
Inez will be sadly missed by her husband Frank, her sons Lee (Sandy) and Danny, her step-daughters Brenda (Mike) and Ingrid (Earl) and her beloved grandchildren Sarah, Katlyn, Curtis, Ethan, Logan and Isaac. She is also dearly missed by her dog Jasper.
Inez was predeceased by her first husband Rod Durocher in 1991. Inez was a dedicated, active member of the Parksville Fellowship Baptist Church. She led a Ladies’ Bible Study group and was always helpful and kind to anyone in need. She will be remembered for her strong faith, wise counsel and love of family. She enjoyed music and always had a lovely flower garden. Inez loved to make apple pies and was often knitting someone a beautiful sweater.
Donations in Inez’ memory may be made to the Benevolent Fund at the Parksville Baptist Church.
Inez’ funeral will be held at the Parksville Baptist Church 550 Pym Street North, Parksville, BC. Saturday January 22, 2011 at 2pm.
