REID, Isabelle
August 15, 1909 - August 21, 2005
Isabelle Reid passed away on August 21, 2005 in Parksville, B.C. She was born on August 15, 1909 in Nanaimo. Predeceased by her husbands, George E. Goodwin and Craig Reid; step-daughters, Marie Hammersley and Thelma Kerns; brother-in-law, Hugh Reid and good friend, Melvin Glaspell. Isabelle is survived by her sister-in-law, Joan Reid; good friends, Norma Glaspell, John and Betty Kennaird and her many relatives in Canada, Scotland and the USA. Isabelle was a librarian with the Victoria Public Library, known as Mrs. Goodman to all the children and was very involved in the Victoria Music Community.
Funeral Services were conducted by the Reverend Foster Freed from ST. STEPHEN’S UNITED CHURCH, 150 Village Way, Qualicum Beach, on Thursday,
September 1st, 2005 at 1:00 p.m., followed by
interment at Qualicum Beach Cemetery.
