Ivan Joseph Eugene CYR
August 12, 1939 – April 15, 2017
Sadly, Ivan passed at the Trillium Hospice Unit on Saturday, April 15, 2017. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 20 years, Sonia; his sons; and six grandchildren.
Ivan was born in Debden, Saskatchewan to parents Marie Louise and Raymond Cyr. A long time resident of the Alberni Valley, he enjoyed the way of life in a small rural community and became a very active and proud member of Branch #169 of the Royal Canadian
Legion.
A Memorial Service will be held in Ivan’s honour at 1:00 pm on Saturday, May 20, 2017 in the
Serenity Room at Yates Memorial Services,
1000 Allsbrook Road in Parksville.
