James Arnold FOGLIETTA
January 28, 1942 – July 5, 2014
The family is deeply saddened to announce that Jim passed away at Nanaimo General Hospital at 6:30 am on Saturday, July 5, 2014 with his wife Pauline at his side, after a 3 year battle with leukemia. He was 72 years of age.
Jim was born and raised in Nanaimo and in his earlier years worked at Harmac’s No. 3 Woodroom. In 1973, he moved with his family to Kitimat to pursue a career in Industrial Relations at Eurocan Pulp & Paper. Jim joined Canadian Forest Products, Howe Sound Pulp Division on the Sunshine Coast in 1976, becoming Manager of Human Resources. Jim and Pauline returned to Vancouver Island in 2008 taking up residence in Parksville, BC.
Jim’s laughter and entertaining, funny stories will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He leaves behind his loving wife of 50 years, Pauline; daughter, Kelly; son, Jim Jr. (Naomi).
A Celebration of Life will be held in Jim’s honour
at 2:00 pm on Saturday, July 26, 2014
at Yates Funeral Chapel, 1000 Allsbrook Road, Parksville, BC.
