James Bernard "Skip" Kowalsky

March 15, 1943 - January 28, 2020
Jim (Skip) Kowalsky peacefully passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2020.
Survived and will always be missed by his wife, Marj, daughters Cheryl (Steve) Toews, Lisa (Kris) Archambault, grandchildren Shawna (Mike Newlands), Stephanie (Wes) Sewell, Brayden and Brianna Archambault, great granddaughter Isla Sewell and his sister Goog and her family.
Skip will always be remembered for his wonderful smile when he greeted his family, his gentle eyes, caring heart, loving embrace and unconditional love.
The family is grateful for the care Skip received from Dr. Fridriksson at the Parksville Clinic as well as the doctors, specialists and nursing staff at NRGH.
A Celebration of Skip's life will be held at Yates Memorial Services on Saturday, February 8th at 1 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Canadian Cancer Society.
