June 17, 1927 ~ May 12, 2009
With sadness we announce the passing of Dave Hamilton on May 12, 2009.
He enjoyed his early years serving in the Canadian Merchant Marines and working in logging and road construction.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Edith, his daughters Susan, Linda (Bill), his sons Greg, Michael and Ross (Joanne). Grandchildren Jennifer, TJ (Kate), Bob, Ian, Katrina, Amanda, Shelby and great grandchildren Branden and Aiden. He is predeceased by his son Gary.
We would like to gratefully thank the wonderful staff at Standford Place, the emergency care staff at Nanaimo General Hospital and the staff and volunteers in the Palliative Wing for their care and compassion and their dedication to helping patients.
