PURDON, James Herbert
March 23, 1929 ~ February 1, 2008
Jim died at Nanaimo General hospital on February 1st. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Lillian, his sons Frank and Tony, step son Randy Jenkins, his twin brother Art, his sister Catherine Cooper and Nancy Kaye and all his friends at the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
He was born in Regina, Saskatchewan and grew up and was educated in Burnaby, BC.
As a Certified General Accountant he worked for both industry and government before establishing an accounting business in Qualicum Beacdh in the seventies. Jim was respected for his keen ability in tax accounting matters and he develped close relationships with many of his clients over the years.
A celebration of Jim's life will be held at the Parksville Lutheran Church, 795 West Island Highway, on Saturady, February 9 at 3:00 PM
