November 6, 1936 ~ June 11, 2008. ?It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a friend, gentlemen, and father.
James Stevenson died peacefully at his home in Qualicum Beach at the age of seventy one. Jim is predeceased by his wife Suzanne, and survived by; Daughter and son in-law Nancy & Larry Nicholson, granddaughter Brittany and grandson Jordan. Son and daughter in-law, Jim & Alita Stevenson, grandson Jesse, and granddaughter Jovi. Son - Bruce Stevenson. Sister - Sister Helen Bruce, Sister - Betty Kirkwood and family. Jim enjoyed lawn bowling, golfing, reading, theatre, photography and spending time with his family. A huge thank you to Dr. Cortez and Staff, District 69 home and Community Care Staff, the Medicine Shoppe, Family and Friends. Your dedication made this journey a little less difficult.
There will be a private service for the immediate family only.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that all donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
When a journey ends, another begins.
