GLOVER, Jane Allison

October 9, 1959 – November 13, 2006

Released from her battle with non Hodgkins lymphoma, which morphed into Burkitt lymphoma, Janie went to be with the Father on Monday afternoon with the comfort of family by her side.

Born in St. Catharines, Ontario, Jane moved with her family to Vancouver Island in 1977. She initially moved to Port Hardy, lived briefly in Duncan and then resided in Victoria for over twenty years. Finally for the past two years, she made her home in Parksville with companion, Dave Steadman.

Janie was predeceased by her sister Tara Drouin, October 19, 2001 and leaves to cherish her memory, daughter Linsday Daynes, Victoria and siblings Faye Amous (Emily Recalma, Alison White, Tom, Will, Andrew and James) Parksville, Anne Glover (Liza and Rachel Klopp) and David Glover, as well as nephew Jordan Drouin, all of Victoria. Also survived by parents Jim and Flo McLean, Parksville, as well as great nephew Seth Recalma, Nanaimo. Jane was a friend of Bill W.

Visitation time at McCall Brothers Funeral Home, 1400 Vancouver St., Victoria will be held between 6:30 and 8:30 Friday, November 17th, 2006. To honour and remember Janie, a service at the Mustard Seed Street Church, 625 Queens, Victoria, will commence at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 18, 2006.

Flowers gratefully declined. Donations in Jane’s name may be offered to the Mustard Seed Street Church at 625 Queens, Victoria, BC.
