Passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 60, on December 27, 2014, in Parksville, BC.
Janet was a caring, compassionate, and lively woman who always put the needs of others before herself.
Those who knew her, loved her and were privileged to experience her many artistic talents, her giving nature and fantastically “whacked” sense of humour.
She was unfailingly there for you if you needed advice, a shoulder to cry on, or just a good rant session.
Janet found joy in the simple things in life and never took herself too seriously. Above all, she was devoted to her husband, children, grandchildren and siblings.
She was a woman of strong faith, believing in the beauty and peace that would await her after her passing.
She is survived by her loving husband Harold, and daughter Christy. Janet is reunited with her son
Andrew and sister Mary.
Funeral Service will be held on January 9, 2015
at the Catholic Church of Ascension,
8876 Wembley Road,
Parksville, BC, at 11am
