April 24, 1967 - September 26, 2020
Heaven surprised us all when a cherished member of our family was called home. Jennifer Louise Fletcher of Vancouver Island, BC, passed away suddenly at home in Errington on September 26, 2020 at the age of 53.
Born April 24, 1967 in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia she was a daughter of the late Florence (Weaver) Fletcher and Patrick Fletcher (Barbara) and is survived by her children, Maverick(Jess), Dawson (Reilli), Haven, Jonah (who Jenn loved as her own) and partner Steven Millen; siblings Shelley Fletcher (Larry - Matthew, Gregory, Brooke), Kelly Lee (Richard - Matthew (Ian), Jordan (Sarah), Brendan (Melanie); Krista Fletcher (Gordon - Jean - Luc (Daniela), Christian (Erica), Gabrielle; Mark Fletcher (Maureen - Bianca (Nathan, Brooks), Erin, Joella, Bailey (Jalyn) and Brent Fletcher (Janice - Benjamin, Abigail)
Jennifer had a kind, sweetheart which allowed her to easily connect with others. Her quick wit and fearless attitude was a source of comic relief and healing for everyone who knew her.
She enjoyed her hair stylist career and continued on to train as a community support worker with the John Howard society, focusing on mental health and addictions.
For Jenn, being a mom, truly filled her with the greatest joy. She moved west 31 years ago where she tormented us east coasters about the beautiful weather, surrounded herself with good people and raised her family. Her goodness lives on in her three children.
As time slowly replaces the deep loss and sadness, her family and friends will celebrate Jennifer's life by sharing and retelling favorite tales of our brave, beautiful "Whenny".
