Joan Elizabeth VALLOR
October 11, 1952 - April 1, 2016
Joan was born in 1952 in Goderich, Ontario to Martha Madeline and Lorne Royden Blythe. She leaves behind husband, Lyall; children, Andrea (Jeff) and Ryan (Amber); siblings, Anne (Geoff) and David (Linda); and father, Lorne.
Joan and her family lived in Qualicum Beach, BC since 1990. She was employed as the Human Resources Officer for School District 69 from 1992 - 2012. Joan had a passion for gardening, golfing, hiking, travelling, but most of all for her family.
She will sadly be missed by everyone who was fortunate enough to have known her.
A Celebration of Life will be held in her honour from 1:00 - 3:30 pm on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at the Parksville Community Centre located at 132 Jensen St East in Parksville BC.
