In Loving Memory ~
With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother, Joan Frances Warner Demmings, who left us on April 12th at the age of 81, surrounded by the love of her family.
Joan is now reunited with her cherished husband of 43 years, Wayne - a long-awaited reunion filled with love and peace.
Joan lived with a vibrant spirit and an unwavering zest for life. Her honesty, quick wit, and warm sense of humor endeared her to everyone she met, allowing her to form deep, lasting connections. She was a woman of remarkable strength and resilience, having bravely faced and overcome multiple battles with cancer. Her courage and determination were hallmarks of her character.
As a devoted mother, Joan raised two sons with grace and grit, instilling in them the values of integrity, hard work, and compassion. Her influence on her family is profound and enduring, and her legacy lives on in the lives of those she loved so deeply.
Joan is lovingly remembered by her sons:
• Ross Demmings, his wife Tanya, and their children Roan and Jolina
• Keith Demmings, his wife Kelly, and their children Tyler and Ella
• Joe DeBruin, his wife Camille, and their children Madison, Julia, and Jack
At Joan's request, no formal service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Canadian Lung Association, a cause close to her heart.
