Johannes “John” SCHULZ
April 01, 1938 – December 8, 2014
Johannes “John” Schulz of Parksville passed away on December 8, 2014 at the age of 76.
John is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Maggie, his stepson David Knight (Irene & daughter Chloe), his sisters Dorothea Kessler (Frank), Johanna Schulz, Renate Nieuwland, his brother Horst (Diane), many nieces and nephews and cousins, and his cat Emmy whom he adored.
John was born in Konary, Poland and immigrated to Canada in November 1950. He enjoyed a long career in Engineering Consulting and had a great love of woodworking and serving his community.
Heartfelt thanks go to the incredible staff of Trillium Lodge for their compassionate care over the last 13 months, and to Dr. Garth Loughead and Dr. Pawel Juralowicz for their care over the years. The family would also like to thank Pastor Paul Hawkes and their loving church community for all their support and kindness.
A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m.
on Friday, December 12, 2014 at the Parksville Fellowship Baptist Church, 550 Pym St, Parksville.
