HARSTAD, John Alfred
of Qualicum Beach, formerly of Port Alberni, passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2003 aged 85 years.
John is survived by his loving wife Stella, married 53 years; son Marty (Cindy), Nanaimo; daughters Carol (Doug) Romain, Parksville and Karen (Marty) Fehr, Vancouver, BC; grandchildren Dallas, Jesse, Carly, Adam and Bev. Also his loyal canine companion “Misty”.
A graveside service will be held Friday, August 8, 2003, 2:00 p.m. at the Qualicum Beach Cemetery, Jones Road, Qualicum Beach, followed by a gathering at Carol and Doug Romain’s home: 1683 Admiral Tryon Blvd., Parksville. Everyone welcome.
